Pt.LS Jha Model School of Excellence
Founded in 1902 under the visionary leadership of R.M. Spence, Spence Training College began its journey at the Normal School in Ganjipura, Jabalpur. Over time, it evolved into the Institute of Advanced Studies for Education, with its pioneering “Agno-Vernacular School” transforming into the renowned Pt. Lajja Shankar Jha Govt. Model Higher Secondary School of Excellence.
Rooted in a legacy of educational innovation, the school has consistently nurtured excellence. Esteemed educators, including luminaries like Shri L.S. Jha and Shri Sheo Prasad Nigam, have shaped its journey. From expanding facilities in 1916 to achieving state merit list dominance from 1952–1967, Model School has remained a beacon of academic rigor and holistic development.
